My daughter and I recently toured the Holy Land through your “Walk in the Footsteps of Jesus” program. We were in Israel July 2-July 9, 2006.
The trip was excellent and interesting. Ada, the guide, was informative and knowledgeable and provided valuable insights into every location on the tour. She was always on-time and very competent and professional.
I am sure I can speak for all seven of us Americans on the trip, it was one of the best any of us will ever take. We all agreed that it is and would always be a highlight of our experiences. Truly it was a trip of a lifetime.

Shana Tova Mercedes: Thank you for your email. The trip and tour were so much better than we had expected or planned. Our tour guide, Yakov, was amazing. He reminded me of my grandfather, but he was in better shape than most of the people on our tour. He was so informative, wise and caring for all of us. I have never met anyone who loves their job as much as he does. I would recommend him highly to anyone.

I have been home about 3 weeks and still recall something about the trip every day. The itinerary was totally inclusive of the best to see of Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee area and the Dead Sea and Red Sea areas. The mix of biblical sites and historical sites kept the trip both interesting and exciting. Everywhere we went was impressive especially Old Jerusalem, Garden of the Tomb, Mount of the Beatitudes, Caesarea, Masada - actually I could go on and on because all places visited are memorable...

The hotels were excellent with the exception of the Dan Carmel in Haifa which was OK but not to the standard of the others.

David and I returned from our visit to Israel at the end of last week and I wanted to let you know that the trip was wonderful. It exceeded our expectations in every aspect. All the arrangements you made for us (the guide, hotels, car rental, and the Petra excursion) were flawless. The overbooking at the Tel Aviv Dan Panorama was resolved by you before we even knew about it and the change you made to put us up at the Tel Aviv Dan was superb.
Our guide was Eilon Beja and he was fantastic…David and I had a wonderful time with him. He was able to 'read' us perfectly and fine tune each day's events so we would get the most out of it. It seemed like he knew everyone in Israel. I can tell you that when I plan another trip to Israel, it will be through DD Travel and I will schedule it such that Eilon Beja could be my guide again if possible.
